WHAT A SURPRISE
Tom was speechless when he arrived at Weston Hall nr Sandon on the 1st of March!
He thought that he was going for a quiet drink with Robin & Jean Spencer to celebrate his birthday (which is the 7th of March and which this year is Hound Day at Crufts and to which he & Jean were not going.
Robin, Jean & Jean's sister Gaynor Carr & husband Alan with the collusion of Tom's family and old friends in the Deerhound World had arranged a surprise lunch at the Hall. Tom's face was a picture and he was speechless as he was greeted with the strains of "Happy Birthday" from the Deerhound Kennels Choir which included - "Kilbourne", "Stranwith", "Talgavar", "Marandike", "Canerikie", "Brackenland", "Jamalison", "Peopleton" "Inverclyde" & "Matahari" & "Gentom".
Thank you all so much for commemorating Tom's three score & 10! "Gentom" wishes you all the very best of luck at Crufts if you are going and is looking forward to having a wee dram with you at the 2014 Breed Show

Mrs Ann (Sid) Taylor the Deerhound Club Secretary passed away today (13/08/12).
